[caption id="attachment_324" align="alignnone" width="300"]concrete pump truck concrete pump truck[/caption] The concrete pump will arrive and the operator will liaise with site manager before setting up machine and pipeline (if required). Once set up is complete the operator will prepare the grout (1 to 2 bags of cement are required on site). The concrete mixer will arrive and back onto the pump. The concrete pump operator will then grout the line and commence pumping. The concrete will be placed into position using the boom if possible. If the boom cannot be moved around or pipeline is used then a concrete gang will be needed to place the concrete. This will continue until all required concrete is placed. At the end of the pour, the concrete pump operator will clean all the concrete from the concrete pump and pipeline. This will take approximately 1 hour, longer if the job involves a long pipeline. The concrete pump operator will then fold away the boom and stow all ancillary equipment on concrete pump. He will then need to write out job sheet and get it signed by customer and then leave site.
