In a concrete bactching plant all of the ingredients that go into the concrete are measured by weight with special scales. These days most of them are electronic. Those scales have to be calibrated from time to time to maintain their accuracy. Calibrating is as simple as hanging predetermined weights on the scales and making sure the electronic gages record that weight properly.

8Calibration and parameter setting of batching scale. If it is found that the batching scale fails to reach the corresponding accuracy (the general accuracy level of the batching scale is grade), it needs to be calibrated.

Matters needing attention

Batching scale calibration process should be based on the instructions, but there are a few caveats: if possible, prior to the setting of parameters can be recorded before calibration; if the calibration operation failed to read the details in the description, mainly involves weighing various parameter settings are changed, or will these parameters to the factory in accordance with the instructions set, then calibration.

In addition, weighing display refresh cycle is also an important parameter, its setting is generally in the range (0.2 ~ 2) s for concrete batching scale, the setting value should not be too large, recommended in 0.2 ~ 0.5 between values; if the cycle is too long, will make the sensor response is slow, thus affecting the the accuracy of weighing.
